All That is Gold Does Not Glitter

Posted on Updated on

This week’s Poetry Tuesday feature is “All That is Gold Does Not Glitter” by J.R.R. Tolkein from Lord of the Rings. I love this poem and the Lord of the Rings. To me this poem is about hope, the journey’s of life and redemption. I hope you enjoy! Be Blessed my friends.

All That is Gold Does Not Glitter

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.
